Maintaining your machine's operational life requires routine lubrication. Inadequately lubricated components can cause the machine to seize up and lead to serious issues later. The Ribbon Blending Machine has a recommended lubrication schedule.
Materials and equipment required:
• GR-XP220 from BP Energol
• An oil gun
• Set of metric sockets
• Disposable latex or rubber gloves (used with food-grade items and to keep hands grease-free).
• Hairnets and/or beard nets (only made of food-grade materials)
• Sterile shoe covers (only made of food-grade materials)
Warning: Unplug the Ribbon Blending Machine from the outlet to avoid any possible physical damage.
Instructions: Wear latex or rubber gloves, and if necessary, food-grade clothing, while completing this step.
1. The lubricating oil (BP Energol GR-XP220 type) needs to be changed on a regular basis. Before replacing the oil, remove the black rubber. Reinstall the black rubber there.
2. Remove the rubber cover from the bearing's top and use a grease gun to apply BP Energol GR-XP220 grease. Reinstall the rubber cover when finished.
